It's based on biblical principles, the steps of recovery, and other disciplines that support the recovery process. It's a program committed to restoring the human dignity of those afflicted by addictions, violence, codependency, dependencies, and other related conflicts.

Hello, my name is Denis Portillo, and I have the honor of being a founder of SIRF. This organization was born from a deep sense of purpose and a calling to serve families navigating some of life’s most difficult challenges. As a Certified Addiction Counselor and Life Coach, I have dedicated my work to helping individuals and families find hope, healing, and a path forward.
Through my experience in addiction counseling, I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact these struggles have on families—especially within the Latino community. This has fueled my commitment to not only provide support but also to empower families with education, resources, and a renewed sense of self.
Today, SIRF stands as a thriving non-profit organization, reaching communities across multiple locations. What began as an idea has transformed into a movement of hope and restoration, touching the lives of countless individuals and families.
It is a privilege to be part of this journey and to continue working toward a future where healing and transformation are possible for all.
